This ancient town utilizes the One-Person-One-Ticket policy. Tourists are admitted by ticket only. Please only follow instructions from genuine staff members. Tickets are only for sale at official ticket sales sites. Tourists who prefer group tours should utilize major travel agencies or purchase travel packages online through the “Zhouzhuang Travel Guide” WeChat mini-program or WeChat Official Account.

For specific ticket prices and preferential policies, please refer to the on-site public notice at the scenic area.

Tips

Tourists may apply for ticket imaging with day tour tickets free of charge. With imaging tickets, they can visit the scenic spot unlimited times within 3 days.

Tour Guide Services

Zhouzhuang Travel Agency has been rated among the top 100 travel agencies in China for multiple consecutive years. Water Town Experience Tour: Ancient Archway - Zhouzhuang Museum - Home of Yifei - Double Bridges - Ancient Drama Stage - Zhang's Hall - Shen's Hall - Fu'an Bridge - Ancient Town Water Alley Tour - Mi Building - Former Residence of Ye Chuqian - Traditional Cultural Street (purchased items are at your own expense)

Tour duration: approximately 3 hours in total

1. Zhouzhuang traditional attractions: Tourists will experience the superior historical and cultural atmosphere in the ancient town (about 2 hours)

2. Purchased experience items: Tasting tea, listening to operas, ancient town water alley tour (about 1 hour)

Tour Guide Service Fees

Chinese interpreter: 280 yuan (1-30 tourists, 3 hours), an additional 10 yuan for each additional tourist; one interpreter guide; the guide service fees include the use of wireless headset equipment.

Foreign language interpreter: 380 yuan (1-10 tourists, 3 hours), an additional 30 yuan for each additional tourist; one interpreter guide; the guide service fees include the use of wireless headset equipment.

Note: Tour guides are supplied by travel agency operators according to a schedule. If tourists intend to select a specific tour guide, the travel agency will arrange the tour group in accordance with the private customization regulation. If tourists have a specific tour guide gender preference, the travel agency will adjust the shifts of tour guides in order to cooperate. Specific tour guides will not normally be selected unless an additional fee of 70 yuan is paid.

Foreign language personal customization service: 500 yuan (1-10 tourists, 3 hours), an additional 300 yuan for each additional 2 hours and an additional 30 yuan for each additional tourist; one interpreter guide; the guide service fees include the use of wireless headset equipment.

Ancient Town Water Alley Tour

Tourists travel by boat with a blue cloth roof while listening to the barge-woman singing Jiangnan water town songs.

Ticket price: 220 yuan/boat (1-6 people)

Wansan Waterway Tour

Tourists can explore the fortune-making secrets of Shen Wansan, the richest person in Jingnan six hundred years ago.
